BOTOX® Cosmetic

BOTOX® Cosmetic is the most common non-surgical procedure performed in the North America. BOTOX® Cosmetic is a safe and effective treatment for the reduction and prevention of wrinkles, management of excessive sweating and for the treatment of migraine headaches and muscle spasms.

Wrinkle Reduction

BOTOX® Cosmetic is a natural protein injection used to relax the muscles that create wrinkles, thereby smoothing the skin and eliminating lines between the eyebrows, across the forehead, and around the eyes. BOTOX® Cosmetic works by inhibiting the nerve impulses that cause facial muscles to contract. This results in muscle relaxation, giving the skin a smoother, more refreshed, youthful appearance. The procedure takes only minutes and results are noticeable within 3-6 days. To prevent lines and wrinkles from re-appearing a simple touch-up is recommended 3-4 times per year.

Perspiration Management

Varicose And Spider Vein Removal

At Body Oasis Beauty and Wellness Center we offer sclerotherapy and laser treatments for the removal of unsightly veins such as spider veins and varicose veins. Spider veins are small purple and red blood vessels commonly found on the legs and face. Varicose veins are larger veins commonly raised with a bluish color generally found in the lower extremities.

Sclerotherapy

Sclerotherapy is a safe, non-surgical treatment which has no downtime and little discomfort. This time-proven procedure was developed in the 1920's and has been found to be very effective in the treatment of unwanted veins. Sclerotherapy involves the injection of a sclerosing solution into the vein through a micro needle which causes the vein to blanch (turn white), then gradually disappear.

Laser Vein Therapy

Breakthrough technology provides a non-invasive, gentle treatment for the elimination of varicose and spider veins, as well as, facial blood vessels. Laser Skin Rejuvenation

IPL Photorejuvenation skin treatments are a breakthrough in age-defying skin care. This new technique uses intense pulse light and treats a variety of skin conditions including skin discoloration, age spots, sun-induced freckles, rosacea (redness and flushing), birthmarks, acne scarring, enlarged pores, and other skin conditions. The result is a more youthful, smooth and revitalized appearance. Mesotherapy/Lipodissolve

Invented in France by Dr. Michel Pistor in 1952, Mesotherapy is used for a variety of cosmetic purposes including spot fat reduction, cellulite reduction, and skin rejuvenation. It is an attractive alternative to liposuction as it does not involve surgery, anesthesia, incisions, or downtime. Instead, Mesotherapy involves microinjections of medications, vitamins and minerals into the mesoderm which is the layer of fat and connective tissue just under the skin.

Mesotherapy for Fat Elimination

Mesotherapy is an effective procedure for the elimination and contouring of undesired small, fat deposits such as love handles, tummy bulge, double chin, inner thighs and outer thighs to name only a few. Acne Treatment for All Ages

The treatment of acne includes a combination of the following methods:

Topical agents such as salicylic acid washes, benzoyl peroxide gels, Retin-A and topical antibiotic (Cleocin).
Oral medications such as antibiotics and isotretinoin (Accutane).
Chemical Peels
PhotoDynamic Acne Therapy (PDT) - An agent called Levulan is applied to the skin for one hour. The skin is then treated with Intense Pulsed Light. The treatment is repeated three to five times. Acne is typically resolved for approximately one year and future breakouts are reduced. This treatment is used for moderate to severe acne patients.

Lipomassage

Dr. Pascual is one of those physicians that has taken the initiative to develop a weight loss program for real people living in the real world of every day pressures and responsibilities. Her philosophy is that we are all individuals with very different metabolisms and she believes that the cookie cutter diets and fads of the past have been ineffective due to the fact that they do not take each individual into account. In order to have an effective weight management each patient requires there own individualized plan customized to their bodies and lifestyles. In addition, as your physician Dr. Pascual will be your own weight loss coach. Too often patients are placed on a weight loss plan only to be seldom seen after the initial consultation. Just like a good athletic coach is part of any athlete’s regular training regimen, close coaching and follow-ups are essential in helping each patient overcome the challenges which may arise during their weight loss program.
